Baptism Invites

I was approached by a family member to make Baptism Invites... I was estatic because I love making things for other people and this shows that others enjoy what I make!!!!!! So I was told I had the freedom to design and it just had to be purple and have a cross on it. Fine that works.
I have an awesome friend that Has a Million and Ten Stamps so I asked her to borrow her Cross Stamp, and I was on my way.
I played around and came up with a invite but once I put it together I was not happy with it. It was missing something. So I played more and came up with this:
It has been fun making this. I used the Cuttlebug for the embossing.
I also used my George Cart to give me the ovals.... I have to make 20 and need 40 ovals that made the process so much quicker.
I Stamped the Cross with Stampabilities "Ornate Cross"
Stickles for the Cross to add a pop to it.
Then Dyed the Flower and Ribbon with my Ink to give it a blended look.

But I do now have Purple all over my fingers lol. But it is worth it.
I will be busy with this most of the week and then will get back to Challenges and Scrapbooking our vacation!!!!!
