As a child we use to go to the local lagoon and go ice skating during the winter months. Those are some of my favorite Christmas memories. I took ice skating lessons for along time so ice skating was something that I loved as a child, but there is something is different about skating outside on the lagoon, then ice skating at a local rink. Tim Holtz has some fun Christmas stamps that have the blueprints, and everyone knows I love me some Tim Holtz Stamps. I figured this would be a fun card to enter into a few different Christmas Challenges going on at different blogs. I was wanting a Christmas classic that would emphasize the Ice Skate, but also not let it blend it, so Glitter became my best friend with this card.

What a lovely memory from your childhood, and a beautiful card to go along with it. I really like the glittery border you added around the image. I love the sentiment you added, it looks like it was cut from acetate and reminds me of ice. Well done!
