Teacher Gifts - Sharpie Marker Cup Bake

This is the first year that I have had to come up with teachers gifts, and both my kids have 2 teachers each at their Daycare/Preschool......
So after searching my favorite website... I figured why not make the teachers Sharpie Mugs. I went to Dollar Tree and picked up the mugs for $1.00 a piece, and had a sharpie at home. I used the sharpie on the mug, and decorated it, with a cute Christmas saying and snowflakes and doodles. Then Bake them in the oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes! It was fun. I used a black Sharpie, and if I do this again I will get some colored Sharpies to add some fun color to it. It was cute and fun to do, and I'm pairing them with a Starbucks gift card. Who doesn't love a cute Christmas mug and Starbucks coffee.  Here are the pictures.

 

The Front of the Mug.... it got brown at the very bottom, but this was my test one, because it was my first time doing this.

The back of the mug with all the silly doodles to dress up the mug and make it cuter then it already is.

Then the handle and the side... I thought it would be totally cute to add something on the handle like Love and Peace or even Joy on some of the handles.
I really hope the teachers like this with their Starbucks Coffee Gift Cards...... I had so much fun with this maybe I'll have my kids make some for Grandparents!
