Sunburst Paper Straw Wreath

Paper Straws are the big thing right now and I have to say at first I was like WHAT? that is crazy but the more and more I saw people making things Crafty with them, they started appealing to me. So one day on an adventure I went and checked out the new Paper Source Store we got here in my area. I had been to one Paper Source store once years ago and thought it was cool, so I found out we just got a new one closer to us, and wanted to see what they had. Low and Behold I found a Paper Straw Wreath that screamed to me " MAKE ME "......... So guess who went and bought Paper Straws, this girl.

So after buying this brand of Paper straws in Grey and White, I sat on them waiting for the inspiration and time to make me a Paper Straw Wreath. (Moving and toddlers will do that to you sometimes.)

Last night I got the inspiration and the time to make my version of the Paper Straw Wreath.
I have to admit I had some issues at first, because I am glue challenged at some points and the circle was not coming together in the middle. But I decided I wanted to add to it and make it "My" creation.

Here is the final result :

I wanted to take a picture of what it looked like on the door as if you were walking up to it. (Look my Welcome is still there)......

This was super easy and quick actually. I glued the Straws down, cutting some down three inches and then putting three different sizes regular, medium, and small. and glued it around the center of medium circle chipboard. then took some DCVW paper for the center circle and the rosette, and the middle of the rosette.  Then took a Orange button with some Red Twine in the middle.

My inspiration looked alittle different then this but in the End it became my creation!

                                      Hope you like.

                                                          Happy Crafting!!!!!
