My hunt for African American stamps is always frustrating for me, because my children are AA and I want to do projects for them with others that they relate too. Not everyone in the world has straight hair, and light skin, so when I do find a stamp I usually get it or at least think about it long and hard........
Well Luckily I found the Julie Nutting paper doll stamp named Taylor, and when I found her I had to do something special for my little girl.... My little girl wears her natural and we do a lot of the Afro as we call it with a Hairbow, because well she looks so super cute with it like that.
I decided on paper piecing and multiples. So I created a 12 x 12 Canvas so that we can put this in her bedroom to display.

Supplies Used:
Julie Nutting Cling Stamp Taylor ( Love Love Love this one)
Fancy pants Designs Die Cuts ( Flowers)
DCWV Baby Girl Pack
Copics for coloring
My Minds Eye In the Bloom.
Miscellanous Ribbon
I think what I love about this Stamp is that It can be used for any ethnic attributes, but because of the curly hair I knew I could pull it off to remind me of my Dee Dee girl.
Also the fact that she can hang this in her room till she is an adult because it doesn't have an age feel to it.
Thanks for watching my design.
Happy Crafting.

Oh So cute and a great idea! I know she will love it.
