Celebrate Blog Hop - Teacher Appreciation

I have been asked to join in the Celebrate Blog Hop, and I'm so excited for this opportunity. This blog hop is using all Stampin Up Product. Thanks to Donna for asking me to join in the fun.... Donna's blog is Stamps Well With Others It is going to be a fun one, and follow us along!   Since joining Stampin Up in October I have been able to meet some wonderful people and create some fun, creative projects.....

A customer asked me after the first of the year to make her some Teacher Appreciation cards, and I was excited to get the headstart on this. But I struggled with the Apple concept. I wanted an apple but not out of a stamp. Thankfully I was able to create this apple out of Circle Punches.

Can you believe this is created with two circle punches...... Punch the with the Larger Circle Punch, then take the smaller punch and make two notches, one on the top and one on the bottom.
Then using Basic Black marker, and White Gel Pen add some dimension onto the apple. Use a exacto knife and put a slit into the black mark and put the twine thru there to add a stem. The Build a Bird Punch wing is used to make the leaf.

The rest of the card looks like this!!!!!!!

Following me on this blog hop is Janice Weightman from  I nominate her and excited to see what she is going to make. I'm so excited for you to check her out, she is so creative and fun. She is an inspiration to me, not only is she my upline, but she is an awesome lady. She will be coming up next week.

Here are a few questions that I was asked to answer about myself....

1.  What are you working on?  Right now I'm trying to add to my business and designing Card Kits that my customers would love to create either with me or in the freedom of their own home. I do have a few  Clients, that are not able to leave or get around easily but love to be creative so I love creating things with them in their homes or giving them something to create when they are wanting something fun to do at home.

2.  How does your work differ from others in your genre? I like to think that I create things that are unique, so I am trying to usually think outside of the box and create with the items I have and do something with it other then the obvious, like my the Apple in this card.

3.  Why do you create what you do?   I love to make Birthday cards, and holiday cards for friends and family. Also love making 3 d projects and mini albums.

4.  How does your creative process work?  My creative process starts with looking at what I have in my craft stash and room, and then usually pinterest or my stamps to see what I need to make and want to work on. It is usually me creating as I stamp and craft. I know that last night I knew I wanted to create something and then started cutting and stamping.
